What's Nirvana? That's my favorite band. They have been my favorite band since before the 5th grade. I remember listening to their self-titled album at first, in amazement. My friend Eduardo had introduced me to them. Five years later, he's moved to Venezuela, and I am still obsessed with the band. The first song I like from them was Come as You Are. Then I started loving Smells like Teen Spirit, Rape me, and Heart- Shaped Box.
In 6th grade, I bought the 4 disc pack. That was year after buying their album called Nevermind. In Bloom and Territorial Pissings were my favorite tracks from this album. Anyways, this band became such an addiction because they were so grunge and they had their own unique sound. Kurt Cobain's voice is incomparable to others. Even though they are no longer together because of his death, I still look up to them and I probably always will.

I remember when Nirvana first became a worldwide band. They were on MTV so often that even non-rock listeners became fans. I also remember the day that Kurt Cobain killed himself. The music world was in mourning for a man that they deemed a genius.
